Within the IS master program, students are required to do at least 10 ects of engineering courses of their interest and expertise. The courses need to be of sufficient level: courses that are taught at master level (i.e. are part of a master program). In some cases, and after approval of the exam committee Bsc. courses taught at level 3 maybe included. This exception is usually only granted for 1 BSc course and when there is a clear need to include the course, for example when the BSc. course is mandatory prior knowledge or part of a homologation programme. These 10 ects can be done during the elective space in Q2, Q3, or Q4 of the first year, but they can also be filled in during your international semester (of >=15 ects).
Below we present a list of possible engineering courses available at the TU/e. These lists are neither complete nor mandatory, other courses that might fit can also be chosen.
