The following Bachelor’s degree certificate provides direct access to the pre-Master's program:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Elektrotechniek or Mechatronics of a Dutch University of Applied Science (Hbo).
- Bachelor of Science in Applied Science/Physics/ Natuurkunde of a Dutch University of Applied Science (Hbo).
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Werktuigbouwkunde of a Dutch University of Applied Science (Hbo).
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, richting Electrical Engineering of Mechanical Engineering van Hogeschool Zuyd (Hbo).
For students with a different degree than listed above, the Departmental Admissions Committee will determine if the deficiency is less or equal to 30 EC. If this is the case, the Departmental Admissions Committee will decide whether admission to and enrollment in the pre-master program is permitted.
The Departmental Admission Committee will decide which pre-master’s program of AI&ES the student must take. There are namely two pre-master programs of AI&ES, A and B.
Program A is for students with pre-knowledge in Data but with deficiencies in Signals & Systems.
Program B is or students with pre-knowledge in Signals & Systems but with deficiencies in Data.
Students can register through Studielink for enrollment in the pre-master program AI&ES. Be aware of the May 1st deadline.
After a student successfully completes the pre-master program AI&ES within the set term (maximum two semesters), the student is admitted to the master program and can continue with the master program AI&ES.
The additional English and Mathematics requirements must also be met when enrolling in the pre-master.
